Viande Richelieu Meat inc., established in 1986, is a Canadian business specialized in raising and transforming beef, bison, horse, and wapiti. Desirous of offering high quality meats, we have established a rigorous traceability program. 

Our factories are accredited HACCP; this means that we enforce the methods of control for the sanitary security of food. Our facilities comply with the certification standards of Canada, European Union, Japan, Swiss, and Russia.

TRACEABILITY AND PRODUCTS SELECTION

Our animals are carefully selected and raised in conditions that respect animal and environemental welfare.

We are committed to offer products of a distinguish quality, reknown for their traceability and their compliance to the Canadian production standards.

All our marketed products undergo frequent veterinarian controls to insure an impeccable quality.

The quality of our slaugtherhouses is among our priorities. We are concerned by the attention given to the animal in the slaughter process and also by the quality of the veterinarian services and the rigor in our sanitary controls.

Viande Richelieu is commited to work according to the current legislation by following the steps of traceability:

  • Slaughter tag / Batch number

  • Meat tag

At our Bouvry Export Division in Alberta, Alberta Wild Rose, you can find beef raised without hormones nor antibiotics.
